Spotting the Difference at the Tate Gallery

Having endured another week of late over crowded trains and run the daily gauntlet known as dodge the cyclist (they don’t believe that the fundamental laws of the road apply to them, especially the one way street law). I decided to seek the oasis of calm and contemplation that is called the Tate Modern.

Now you will have noted from previous blogs that I’m not quite as green as I am cabbage looking and do as they say have a little knowledge of things art and design and understand that it’s not all about chocolate box twee or precision perfect techniques, but what greeted me in the galleries even had me baffled.

I assume that the pieces were bought at huge expense for the great and the good of the nation and for the continued education of the British gallery goer but I could have saved us all a small fortune or indeed made myself a sizeable one.

Why? How? I hear you say… Well I spend an awful lot of time on and around building sites… You spot the difference.
