The Building
Exchange Tower is situated within the Harbour Exchange Development at the heart of London Docklands Enterprise Zone.
The floor plate selected by Telecity for their future occupation, whilst being clean, open and providing a maximised flexible space, is unfortunately affected by the proximity of surrounding buildings and the mirrored wing of Exchange Tower. This has a direct affect on the levels of light entering the floor space and the outlook for staff.

The Brief
To undertake a Category B fit out within a Category A open plan space on the fourth floor of No.2 Exchange Tower. The project had a number of key drivers for Telecity Group which include the following:

The team had to be successfully relocated to their new offices within 10 weeks of receipt of the completed floor from the landlord’s contractor
Key areas of secure office space must be maintained
The reception had to demonstrate that Telecity Group are a leading business without being ostentatious
An executive suite of meeting rooms that reflect the quality of Telecity brand
A large breakout area for the staff that was vibrant and different from the main office areas
Re-use as much of the existing furniture as possible, and supplement with new
Create a sustainable fit out to reflect an important aspect of Telecity operational drivers
